Volleyball tournament – Feb. 26th, 2:30pm

Harvest will be participating in a volleyball tournament taking place this Sunday, Feb. 26th @ 2:30pm sponsored by KCPCH. We will be forming 2 coed teams of 9 people each, so if you’re interested in playing, all you have to do is show up! There will also be an open practice on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd at church in preparation for the tournament at 7pm.

Mark your calendars!

- All Baptisms, Confirmations, & Dedications will take place on April 8, 2012 (Easter Sunday service)

- Baptism class for adult new believers (and also for those wishing to receive Confirmation from a previous baptism) continues THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25th, 2012 to April 8, 2012 (13 weeks, on Saturdays 3-5pm)

- Baptism class for parents requesting infant baptism or alternatively, infant dedication will be March 31, 2012 (3-5pm – membership of parents also required)

- Membership class for new members of Harvest (2 dates available – attendance only at 1 required) - March 17 or 24, 2012

Men’s Communitas (community group): Feb 5, Superbowl Sunday!

Attention Harvest men of all ages!!

After much waiting and demand, we are beginning our men’s small group / communitas on the first Sunday of February, Superbowl Sunday! It will be at 3pm at Jamie’s Home (directions to be emailed) and will be an important time of connecting with other men and discussing the deep things guys go through in life, from career to relationships, from patterns of stress to plans for health in all areas of life. This is gonna be a good one – you don’t want to miss out! YOU are invited. BRING a friend. PUT it in your calendar: February 5th (and we will be meeting regularly once a month).

Free the Captives’ 2nd Annual Houston Human Trafficking Conference

As a church that looks outward to our greater Houston community, please consider attending the Free the Captives’ 2nd Annual Houston Human Trafficking Conference. There will be local and international anti-trafficking presenters from Christian organizations, law enforcement, non-governmental organizations/nonprofits, academia, and governmental agencies. This will be a great opportunity to learn about human trafficking and get involved in local efforts to eradicate it.
